The Spirit
ŌBDO story
Two brothers craft spirits in the heart of Riga, Latvia introducing the world to Latvia's natural riches and unique flavors.
Inspired by the pure and honest conditions of the northern nature, ŌBDO was created using the finest ingredients found in Latvian woods and meadows. Hand-picked and selected plant leaves, buds, flowers, and berries create the unique bouquet of ŌBDO gin's taste and aroma, that reminds of home for the true Northerner, while warmly welcoms everyone else
The name ŌBDO derived from the ancient Livonian language -
a nearly extinct tongue once spoken along Latvia's coast. It carries the essence of a land where forest meets sea. ŌBDO (“õbdõ” in Livonian) means - silver, symbolizing the Latvian winters, northern nature and purity.
At the heart of ŌBDO’s philosophy is the word “spirit” - not just as a drink, but as the passion, quality and attitude with which each product is created. Premium small batch London dry gin is crafted for special moments, conversations and feelings.
